Visions and Goals
NYC Occupy Wall Street Vision & Goals working group is a leader-full group that invites you to join in creating a collaborative vision for the Occupy Wall Street movement.
The mission of the Vision & Goals working group is to represent all the members of OWS in the creation of a comprehensive statement of what we would like our shared future to look like for generations to come and which specific goals are necessary to achieve that future. In order to be a true reflection of the movement, we want our process to reflect everyone’s input. We will collect input from people everywhere, both in person and via all electronic media at our disposal. We especially invite the input of all people formerly marginalized due to their race, religion, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, disability or socioeconomic level. In pursuing this important work, we are committed to the use of the following three simple principles: We will always work for peace; we will always work for solidarity; we will always look to carry forth a good message.
